From December 2019 to November 2022, EWEI, with a grant from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund), launched “Our Safe Spaces” a project to support women and girl survivors of gender-based violence, physical, economic violence and sexual exploitation in Kaduna state, Nigeria.

Our Safe Spaces promote beneficiaries’ access to psychosocial support systems and economic empowerment opportunities to facilitate normalisation of their lives.

Our Safe Spaces is currently benefitting over 450 beneficiaries across two communities in Kaduna.
